What's in season?
We pick to order, so the catalogue changes with the fields. It’s September right now: pick a season and see what’s being cut.
The late oranges — Lane, Barberina and Valencia — are the juiciest of the year. Lemons carry on, and the orange trees blossom.
The table citrus rests and the market garden takes over: Italian frying peppers and aubergines. Lemons carry on. Mandarins and oranges come back in November.
The season starts: mandarins in October, Persimon persimmons until December and the first Navelina oranges in November. From the market garden come Chinese cabbage and squash.
The height of the citrus season: Navelina oranges and Clemenvilla mandarins, with the cold nights concentrating the sugar. Persimmons bow out in December; from the market garden, Chinese cabbage and squash carry on.

When will my order arrive?
The fruit is picked the day we prepare your order and leaves Albalat de la Ribera for your home. Delivery takes 24-48 hours, with no warehouses or distribution centres on the way.
Why don't you have everything all year?
Because we pick to order and keep no fruit in cold storage. Everything has its months: you can see them in the picking calendar on this page. If something isn’t in the shop, it’s because it isn’t at its best.
Can I order several things in one box?
Yes. There’s the mixed box of oranges and mandarins, and on any other order you can tell us in the order notes how much of each you’d like.
The peel has marks and there's a leaf in the box — is that normal?
Yes, and it’s a good sign. We apply no wax and no treatments after picking, so the peel may not be perfect and a leaf sometimes arrives with it. It’s freshly picked fruit, not polished fruit.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands. For now we don’t reach the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.
And if something arrives in poor condition?
You write to us and we sort it out. We work with fresh produce and the journey sometimes takes its toll: if something doesn’t arrive well, we replace it or refund you.
